Rigidizers are sprayed, dipped or brushed onto fibre products to give an erosion-resistant surface. Rigidizers help protect the exposed surface of fibre products against the effects of high gas velocity, such as turbulence. It can also be applied using a dipping process which confers a higher degree of strength and hardness throughout the substrate’s thickness. Fixwool Rigidizers are supplied ready to use.
