Wearflex® Q-Flex (for clean flue gasses)

Wearflex® Q-Flex expansion joints are specially designed for applications for hot air ducts of dry clean flue-gas ducts from 20°C to 1370°C.
To indicate the difference in temperature resistance we created three different subtypes:

  • Q-Flex LT (<250°C : single layer fabric expansion joints)
  • Q-Flex MT (250°C – 500°C:  multi layer fabric expansion joint,s without insulation mattress)
  • Q-Flex HT (>500°C, multi layer fabric expansion joints, with insulation mattress)

 

Due to the flexible characteristics of the used materials, Q-Flex Expansion Joints can be made in all kind of shapes and designs, tailor made. If requested, the Wearflex® Division can offer and supply you also complete pre-fabricated Q-Flex expansion joints including steel frames and flow plates.
