Isofoam-Foamfrax lining system

The Insulcon group is an exclusive approved Isofoam & Foamfrax applicator. Isofrax / Foamfrax Insulation (up to 1250°C) is a three-component system of specially conditioned bulk soluble or ceramic fibres, binder, and foaming agent.
The Isofoam / Foamfrax installation process combines special bulk fibre material with inorganic binder and a foaming agent in a patented mixing mechanism. Within the mixing chamber, the fibres and binders are combined to create a homogeneous  (fibre) foam mixture. The Isofoam / Foamfrax installation machinery propels this mixture through a feed hose and nozzle, and the material is then gunned onto the target surface. The proprietary Isofoam / Foamfrax binder system and patented installation method completely encapsulate the fibres with the foaming binder, significantly reducing airborne fibre levels during installation.
Isofoam / Foamfrax Insulation is easily installed at the job site by Insulcon owned special equipment and under supervision of trained Insulcon engineers. Typical applications are : New  furnace linings,  additional (energy conservation)  "Hot Face" linings over existing refractory, calamity lining repairs,  Low mass kiln car decks, etc.
Isofoam / Foamfrax Insulation is speed and ease of installation, has a low rebound (< 2%) during installation, can immediate be fired after installation, reduces the heater downtime, has excellent thermal efficiency characteristics, and good chemical resistance.
