Nanoporous products (Insulair® NP)

Insulair® NP materials are flexible nanoporous insulation blankets designed for high temperature applications. The unique properties of very low thermal conductivity, high temperature resistance, good flexibility and ease to use, have made Insulair® products essential for those seeking the ultimate in thermal protection.

Using patented nanotechnology the Insulair® materials combine a silica aerogel with reinforcing fibers to deliver superior thermal performance.

Insulair® is available in several product forms for temperature ranges from cryogenic up to high temperature levels.
The standard product forms are:

Insulair® NP cryogenic (-200°C to +200°C)
Insulair® NP cryogenic is a flexible insulation for subambient and cryogenic applications. The batting fibre is white polyester. Thicknesses are 6 and 10 mm.

Insulair® NP 200 (-100°C to +200°C)
Insulair® NP 200 (dark grey coulour) has a needled black polyester batting fibre. Insulair® NP 200 is standard available in several thicknesses (3,6 and 9 mm).

Insulair® NP 350 (0°C to 385°C)
Insulair® NP 350 (dark gray colour) has a carbon/glass batting fibre and is standard available in several thicknesses (3,6 and 10 mm).

Insulair® NP 650 (22°C to 650°C)
Insulair® NP 650 (off white colour) has a needled glass batting fibre and is available in 6 mm.

Insulair® XT (-40°C to 650°C)
Insulair® XT (off white colour) possesses the lowest thermal conductivity of any known solid.
Available in 5 mm and 10 mm.
