GPE impregnated gastight textiles

GPE impregnated gastight textiles are slightly mastic sealing cords. They are available in various diameters. GPE impregnated gastight textiles are impregnated with a mastic/elastic synthetic material and do not contain asbestos. The cord consists of yarns containing aluminum silicate or body soluble fibres.

GPE impregnated gastight textiles are specially developed to seal boiler sections. It can also be used as a jointing material between the flue gas collector and the boiler unit. The special properties of the product give a permanent seal, effectively stopping combustion gases escaping to atmosphere. 

This characteristic makes the product highly suitable for the sealing of boiler sections which are either pressurized or non-pressurized, when the burner is in operation.

Various other sealing applications are also possible.
