Aerogel superinsulation

Aerogel materials are flexible super insulation blankets designed for high temperature applications. The unique properties of very low thermal conductivity, high temperature resistance, good flexibility and ease to use, have made Aerogel products essential for those seeking the ultimate in thermal protection.

Using patented nanotechnology the Aerogel materials combine a silica aerogel with reinforcing fibers to deliver superior thermal performance.

Aerogel is available in several product forms for temperature ranges from cryogenic up to high temperature levels.
The standard product forms are:

Cryogel Z (-200°C to +90°C)
Cryogel Z is a flexible blanket insulation with an integral vapor barrier for sub-ambient and cryogenic applications. Thicknesses are 5 and 10 mm.

Pyrogel XT (-40°C to 650°C)
Pyrogel XT (off white colour) possesses the lowest thermal conductivity of any known solid.
Available in 5 mm and 10 mm.

 

Pyrogel XTF (-60°C to 650°C)
Similar to Pyrogel XT in composition, Pyrogel XTF has been specially formulated to provide exceptional protection against fire.
Available in 10mm.
