(Ceramic) Modules up to 1600°C
Insulcon started developing the first (MAS - Mechanically Anchored System) modules in 1983. Although there were several fibre module systems available on the insulation market, we had our own ideas about stack bond fibre linings and stack-bond module systems.
After years of developing and improving, we are proud of our specially designed module systems that are available in different temperature grades and in a wide range of density and thickness combinations. These low thermal mass, high temperature resistant and superior insulation blocks are produced in our own production and ensure a fast delivery.
Insulcon's prefabricated anchored modules are specifically designed to meet the thermal insulation requirements of industrial furnaces, kilns and heaters. Next to our MAS Modules other anchoring systems such as anchor lock are available.
Typical application for fibre modules are for example
- Petrochemical heaters, reformers and ethylene furnaces
- Ceramic kilns, rotating drying kilns
- Heat-treatment furnaces
- Soaking pit covers
- Melting furnaces (roofs/walls)
In our delivery program we have modules made from several qualities of fibre up to 1600°C. Examples are modules made from Fiberfrax® ceramic fibre, Insulfrax® 1100, Insulfrax 1300HT® or Isofrax® low bio-persistent (LBP) fiber or Saffil and M-Fill polykristaline fibres.
Both edge-stacked or folded construction forms can be manufactured.
